Do you work on holidays?
We do not work the following days: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas Day. We will return to the regular day the following week.
Should I leave my gate unlocked? What if it’s frozen?
Yes, please leave your gate unlocked. You may provide us with a key to the lock or provide us the combination to enter your yard on service days. In the event your gate is locked when we come you will not be credited for the week. If your gate is frozen, it is your responsibility to free the gate so that our scooper can enter. We do not allow our employees to climb or jump over fences. If we cannot enter your yard on the date of service, we will return the following week. You will be charged for a scheduled visit.
What if I want to skip a day?
You will not be charged for a skipped service visit provided you call at least 48 hours in advance. If the dog will be gone from the yard for a couple of weeks, or for some other reason you want us to skip your yard for a day or more, we can hold service and you will not be charged for those days. HOWEVER; if your gate is locked or the dog will not allow us to clean the yard when we come to do the work, it may be necessary to charge for the service call that could not completed. If for instance you get to work and remember that the gate is locked, call us early to tell us to skip that day so that you won't be charged.
How do I pay you?
Credit Card is our preferred method of payment and is required to begin service. For a one-time visit payment we will process after we have completed clean-up that day. For clients with regular weekly, twice weekly or bi-weekly service, your credit card will be charged in advance prior to the start of the month of service. If paying by check or declined credit card charges… There is a $5.00 late payment processing fee for accounts not paid by the 15th of the month following the service. There is also a $25.00 returned check fee. Discounts are offered if you choose to prepay for 6 or 12 months.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No, we can start and stop your service over the phone. We do not require contracts, there is no minimum service period, 48 hour advance notice required to cancel service.
Is there an extra charge for the first time?
There will be an extra charge for the first service if there has been a lot of accumulation of waste over time.
What do you mean "SATISFACTION GUARANTEED”?
We know our business depends on doing excellent work, and it's the quality of our service that sets us apart from our competition. We're working very hard to make our name mean reliable, high-quality service. We strive to provide perfect service, but if there is ever a time when our service is not completely satisfactory, please let us know right away. We will make it right, either by coming back to re-clean the yard the same day or the next day. Credits will not be issued if greater than 48 hours from time of service.
How often does our company come out?
Most of our customers prefer service at least once a week. Other options are available; if you would like to know more about service more or less than once a week, please call us.
Do you work in severe weather, snow, rain, lightning, tornado?
We work year round in all kinds of weather. We will continue to pick up your dog’s waste even with snow on the ground to prevent accumulation. However if there is a snow fall accumulation of 1″ overnight or on your service day, we will not be able to find your dog’s poop. Our company policy is that we will come back the following week and then pick up what we can see. As the snow melts we eventually will pick up all your dog’s poop. If heavy snow occurs, we might be forced to postpone service until the following week. Tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings may also require us to delay our service. We might be forced to postpone service until the next week due to heavy rain, flooding, extreme heat or extreme sub-zero cold.
What’s my responsibility?
Yards must be easily accessible to be cleaned. Lawns must be cut on a regular basis, without large amounts of debris or leaves. We can only pick up what we see. Gates should be free of snow, ice, locks (unless key or combination was supplied). If we can’t enter through your gate, we will return the following week. You will be charged for a service visit. Aggressive dogs mustbe left indoors on the scheduled service day(s). We will ring your bell and ask you to bring the dogs inside. If you are not home and your dogs are out, you will be charged for a service visit.
Can you work with my dog in the yard?
To be most efficient, we may ask for your dog to be brought into the house or restrained in some manner. Our employees do get along with dogs; however there are some cases when a dog might not let our employee enter the yard. If you know that your dog is not good with strangers, or for some reason we are not able to clean the yard with your dog present we will reschedule for another day and ask that you restrain the dog in the future. We don’t want to take unnecessary risks on the part of our employees, or your dog. You will be charged for a scheduled visit.
